'KIDS' Spring 2025 Cultural Project

Ann Demeulemeester has unveiled the third installment of KIDS, a visual diary series curated by the brand’s creative director, Stefano Gallici. This latest edition draws inspiration from the eclectic and dynamic cultural milieu of Los Angeles, a city that has significantly influenced Gallici’s creative endeavors.

Los Angeles, with its rich blend of music, cinema, and street culture, has captivated Gallici, fostering a deep connection with his creative process. “Los Angeles is starting to feel like a new home for me,” Gallici shared. “Every time I return, there’s this immediate sense of familiarity. It’s a place where I feel deeply connected to my creative process. Working here feels effortless—the city’s energy flows naturally, and everything comes intuitively. It’s as if I already know how the project will evolve before it even begins. LA has become a space for constant exploration, where I meet new people, form meaningful connections, and build on the ideas that seamlessly integrate into KIDS.”

In this edition, Gallici collaborates with a diverse group of LA-based artists and creatives, including actress and singer Sophie Thatcher, producer and guitarist Chris Greatti, musician Dove Armitage, film archivist Bella Scaffidi, and musician and model Nico Geyer.

“Los Angeles has always been at the heart of music, film, and fashion, and it felt completely natural to bring these people into KIDS,” Gallici explained. “Each of them has a deep connection to their art, and together, they create a genuine spirit of collaboration. Sophie’s unique blend of acting and music, Chris’s raw energy and passion for sound, Dove’s musical talent, Bella’s work as a film archivist preserving classic films, and Nico’s dual role as both a musician and model—they all contribute something truly inspiring, adding new layers of depth to KIDS.”
