AZ Factory with Lutz Huelle : J is for Joy

AZ Factory announced that the collaboration with Lutz Huelle turns into a recurrent one, with its next story to be released in June 2023.

For the forthcoming story, “J is for Joy” expands some themes from the previous episode, with a strict commitment to sustainability with more than 50% of the collection that will be created from deadstock materials.

In the past year and recently, AZ Factory released 8 collaborations all inspired by its founder project, the late Alber Elbaz, to create “smart fashion that cares”, pushing the boundaries of inclusivity, celebrating different kinds of beauty and supporting independent creativity with a curatorial approach: Thebe Magugu, Ester Manas, Cyril Bourez, Club Domani, Lutz Huelle, ShelterSuit, Tenessy Thoreson and Molly Molloy with Lucinda Chambers.

AZ Factory keeps its mutant identity going by experimenting new approaches by mixing diverse backgrounds, aesthetics, genders, cultures, places and identities, and has decided that certain friends are forever still looking for new ones as well.

“With Lutz everything happened in a spontaneous and joyful way: the idea to conceive together a project inspired by the common value of friendship, with the ultimate wish to create practical solutions to empower women. Working together has been an authentic collective exercise from the very start of the creative process. It has been all about essential beauty, no frills and witty, complying with an understated approach to today’s elegance. The first chapter of the project was extremely well received so the question has naturally become: let’s do it again?”
