The Circuit Is the First Featured Sneaker in the New Campaign Series
Balenciaga has launched a new campaign to introduce its latest athletic-inspired footwear, beginning with the Circuit Sneaker.
The campaign features portraits by photographer Chris Lensz, showcasing house muses Annabelle and Khadim wearing the lightweight shoes in a white and silver colorway. The models pose against a backdrop that evokes a sense of classic domesticity, subverted through Balenciaga’s experimental edge.
The Circuit Sneaker, now available in Balenciaga stores and on the brand’s website, reinterprets the modern gym shoe with bold proportions, merging comfort with high-concept design. The sneaker’s name alludes to a continuous loop, whether representing repeated athletic activity or the completion of an electric current. The shoe features a dynamic sole that swells under the ball and heel, supporting movement and agility. Its upper is made of aerodynamic vented panels and a fused eye stay. The exterior is adorned with three different Balenciaga logomarks, highlighting the sneaker’s hybrid design.
