Balmain Launches Gender-Fluid “Olivier’s Vestiaire” Line

Creative Director Olivier Rousteing Designed the Concise Range of Timeless Unisex Pieces

Balmain has announced the launch of Olivier’s Vestiaire, a special collection of core wardrobe icons designed without a specific gender in mind. From angularly tailored outerwear to intricate knits and graphic tees, the tightly focused line takes shape as an offering of staple pieces that pay homage to the house’s legacy of superb Parisian design.

A statement from the house read, “Born of the idea that fashion should be fluid, the new Olivier’s wardrobe embodies the Creative Director’s unique stylistic flair and love of expertly crafted garments into a line of genderfluid silhouettes.”

The announcement of the collection was made via a series of portraits of Rousteing himself shot by photographer Francesca Beltran in the designer’s Parisian home, emphasizing the personal touch and elevated everyday wearability of the collection.
