Balmain Launches New Fragrance Collection, Les Éternels

Balmain Unveils New Fragrance Collection

Olivier Rousteing, creative director of Balmain, has launched Les Éternels de Balmain, an exclusive collection of eight fragrances. Featuring both new creations like Bronze and Rouge and reimagined classics such as Ivoire and Ébène, the collection debuted on balmainbeauty.com and in select boutiques, with each fragrance priced at $300.

Produced under a licensing agreement with Estée Lauder Companies, this collection reflects Rousteing’s personal connection to scent, drawing on memories of his mother and grandmother’s perfumes. It also ties into Balmain’s heritage, with a nod to its early fragrance history dating back to the 1940s.

Balmain’s beauty relaunch follows a partnership with Estée Lauder in 2022, marking a new chapter for the brand’s expansion into luxury beauty. The Les Éternels collection is expected to generate significant sales, with industry insiders estimating around $50 million in its first year through select high-end retailers like Neiman Marcus, Selfridges, and Galeries Lafayette.

Rousteing emphasized the emotional and timeless appeal of the fragrances, while a diverse campaign featuring models like Dove Cameron and Soo Joo Park underscores the brand’s commitment to inclusivity. For Rousteing, this launch is more than just a new chapter—it’s a whole new book for Balmain in the beauty world.
