Originally Planned for June During Paris Men’s Fashion Week, the Show Is Now Slated for September
Balmain has announced the decision to delay the presentation of its Spring 2025 men’s collection to this fall, instead of the previously scheduled June 21 date.

Following recent executive changes, with new CEO Matteo Sgarbossa assuming the leadership role one month ago, Balmain announces today that it is changing the date of the presentation of the house’s spring 2025 men’s collection. The collection, which had been scheduled to be shown on June 21, will now be presented in September, during next fall’s Paris Fashion Week.
The specific format of the presentation remains undecided. Matteo Sgarbossa, the brand’s new CEO and former international director at Givenchy, took over from Jean-Jacques Guével last month. His goal is to collaborate with Olivier Rousteing, Balmain’s creative director since 2011, to enhance the brand’s “international success across geographies,” leveraging the “solid foundations” established in recent years.
Moreover, this fall marks a significant milestone for Balmain as the brand is set to introduce its first fragrances under a new beauty license with the Estée Lauder Cos. Inc.
Men’s Fashion Week in Paris is slated to start on June 18 and conclude on June 23, immediately followed by Paris Couture Week, which has been rescheduled to June 24 to 27 to avoid overlapping with the 2024 Paris Games preparations.
