British tailoring meets Tom Daley’s knit designs for the Winter Games

Ben Sherman will again take the international stage as the Official Ceremony Wear Supplier for Team GB at the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026, marking the brand’s fourth consecutive Games. For this edition, the British label introduces a new creative element: a knit collaboration with Olympic Gold Medalist Tom Daley, who designed hand-knit scarves and winter hats for the Opening and Closing Ceremony Flagbearers. Daley’s pieces, inspired by the textures and landscape of the Dolomites, carry bold GB lettering and cable-knit patterns that echo both the season and the significance of leading the team onto the world stage. Select versions of these accessories will appear in the Ben Sherman x Team GB Retail Collection, offering fans a chance to take home a piece of the ceremonial moment.
Across both ceremonies, the brand reinterprets British tailoring for winter performance, combining classic fabrication with Team GB’s illustrated motifs. The Opening Ceremony look centers on a wool dogtooth topcoat layered over a mock-neck sweater with raised stripe detailing and a Union Flag motif, anchored by utilitarian joggers and Vibram-soled boots. The Closing Ceremony shifts to a more relaxed silhouette, led by a chunky wool-blend track jacket woven with Team GB’s zig-zag illustration and Ben Sherman’s signature mod-tipped cuffs. Ice dancers Lilah Fear and Lewis Gibson front the accompanying campaign, set against a wintry backdrop inspired by northern Italy. The partnership extends to a limited retail capsule launching December 8, 2025, featuring pieces mirroring the athletes’ looks—including Daley’s knit accessories—designed to celebrate Team GB’s journey to Milano Cortina.
