Botter shares a vibrant and aquatic new campaign in celebration of its Spring 2022 collection by photographer Viviane Sassen.
Taking her cue from the brand’s design principles of simple silhouettes and sustainability married to vivid and uplifting colors, Sassen captures the collection at the beach, against a backdrop of wet sand, waves, and blue sky. Playing with water and light, she photographs her models just as a thrown curtain of water or an immense bubble passes between them. Elsewhere, she treats the images with splashes of pure color.
The imagery exudes a sharp focus on communicating the brand’s ethos and aesthetic, which draw inspiration from the vibrancy of Carribbean culture and the brand’s commitment to sustainability and aquatic restoration.
The campaign arrives only a week after the founding creative director duo of Rushemy Botter and Lisi Herrebrugh announced their departure from Nina Ricci, where they have also served as creative directors for over three years. The pair shared that they want to take more time to focus on Botter and guide it into a new phase of growth.
Bold, colorful, and uplifting, the campaign is a bright way to ring in this exciting new phase for the brand. We look forward to seeing Botter continue to make waves.
