Brandon Maxwell Launches Debut Handbag Collection

Three silhouettes debut in the brand’s first-ever accessories collection

Brandon Maxwell has unveiled its first-ever handbag collection, marking a significant milestone in the brand’s evolution as it expands into luxury accessories. Debuting on the Spring 2026 runway, the collection reflects the house’s commitment to modern American luxury through timeless design and refined craftsmanship.

The collection introduces three silhouettes — the Maxwell Bag, the Louise Pochette, and the Vance Weekender — each available in a range of materials including nappa leather, malt brown suede, and embossed python. Together, they embody Maxwell’s philosophy of combining function with sophistication.

“This launch is a long-time dream of mine and an exciting expansion of the world of Brandon Maxwell,” said the designer. “Each bag reflects the same commitment to craftsmanship and elegance that has always defined the brand. I hope these bags become staples in women’s wardrobes for years to come, inspiring confidence and style in every facet of her life.”

Handcrafted in Italy, the Maxwell Bag is distinguished by its architectural frame and built-in newspaper holder, a subtle nod to the return of print culture. Palladium-plated hardware and teardrop gussets elevate the silhouette, while versatile handles allow it to be carried by hand, on the shoulder, or in the crook of the arm.

The Louise Pochette offers a sleek, structured form with rounded edges and an adjustable strap, designed to transition seamlessly from day to night. The Vance Weekender, exclusively available at BrandonMaxwellOnline.com, brings a practical yet elegant approach to travel with reinforced stitching, dual handles, and a detachable shoulder strap.

The collection will be available on ModaOperandi.com and BrandonMaxwellOnline.com beginning October 23, with early access for waitlist subscribers on October 21. Prices range from $1,800 to $3,600.
