Bucherer Hosts FLORE Exhibition at 57th Street Flagship

The exhibition features new works from Christopher Florentino’s Urban Cubist series

Bucherer is bringing contemporary art into dialogue with high horology at its 57th Street flagship in New York, presenting a new exhibition by artist Christopher “FLORE” Florentino.

Titled Timing is Everything, the exhibition runs from March 26 through May 31 and features eight new works created specifically for Bucherer. Drawn from FLORE’s Urban Cubist series, the pieces are defined by layered compositions of color, texture, and symbolism, inviting sustained observation—an approach that mirrors the precision and craftsmanship of fine watchmaking.

Installed throughout the boutique, the works transform the retail environment into an immersive space that blends art and luxury. The exhibition reflects Bucherer’s broader strategy of positioning its stores not only as points of sale, but as curated cultural destinations.

Florentino’s practice introduces a contemporary visual language rooted in structure and abstraction, offering a contrast to traditional horological aesthetics while maintaining a shared emphasis on detail and process. His compositions unfold gradually, rewarding time and attention in a manner aligned with the mechanics and philosophy of watchmaking.

With Timing is Everything, Bucherer continues to explore the intersection of art and design, reinforcing its role as a curator of both objects and experiences. The exhibition underscores the maison’s ongoing efforts to engage clients through multidisciplinary programming that extends beyond jewelry and timepieces.
