Bulgari premieres their ‘Unexpected Wonders’ campaign, with imagery by photographer Dan Jackson and Chris Colls, along with a short film starring Anne Hathaway and Zendaya, directed by Paolo Sorrentino. In her simplicity, timelessness, and effortless elegance Anne Hathaway showcases her new role as the brands ambassador.
Bulgari’s Eden The Garden of Wonder, a high jewelry collection, was first revealed when Hathaway wore the Mediterranean Reverie necklace to 2022 Cannes Film Festival. This celebration of nature, with its vivid hues and generation of precious stones, such as the 107,15 carat sapphire the oscar-winning actress wore on the red carpet, is explored through the cinematic art.
Hathaway and Zendaya lean against trees in a manicured park in Rome, while classical music combines with the twittering of birds and the rustling of leaves. As the women begin to walk they recite the words, “In the search for wonder, there is no ending, only new beginnings.” A joyful radiance shines from these actresses who explore Rome’s magnificence, playing in the transcendent light that dapples in and out of their range of discovery.
Colorful flowers drop from the ceiling of a chandleried room, as the pieces of Eden, such as a bejeweled snake bracelet and a peacock, come into focus. The past and its mystery remain felt, as the women flip through old photographs and form inquisitive expressions, however in each other’s company the future and its possibility shines bright in flowing playful passion. In nature’s majesty and wonder, woman, with her noble adornments, reins, even while aware of her own entropic development.
