An art-driven gathering celebrates the house’s creative partnership during Art Basel Miami Beach
Burberry marked its ongoing collaboration with British-American artist Sarah Morris with an intimate evening at the exclusive Andaz Beach Miami, bringing together a tight circle of creative figures during Art Basel Miami Beach. The event served as a celebration of the partnership and the debut of Morris’s striking new artwork, Department of Water and Power (2025), which has been installed across the façade of Burberry’s Miami Design District location—an architectural gesture that merges the artist’s graphic visual language with the house’s contemporary cultural outlook.
Set against the oceanfront setting, the gathering blended Miami’s art-week energy with Burberry’s refined point of view. Guests experienced the unveiling in a relaxed, dinner-driven format that encouraged conversation around Morris’s work and the shared themes of structure, motion, and modern urban life. The artist’s bold geometry and saturated color palette, glowing against the Miami dusk, became the evening’s central talking point.
The dinner brought together a curated group of friends of the house, including Benji B, Jen Ceballos, Mia Moretti, Julez Smith, Sarah Morris, and Tinx. Intimate in scale yet rich in creative exchange, the event underscored Burberry’s growing imprint at the intersection of fashion and contemporary art—an approach that feels particularly at home during Miami’s most culturally charged week of the year.
