Calvin Klein, Inc., a PVH Corp. subsidiary, is set to open a new global flagship store in Tokyo on August 29, 2025. The store is located at 4-31-10 Jingumae in Shibuya’s Harajuku district and spans three floors over 1,315.5 square meters. The launch marks a continued effort to strengthen Calvin Klein’s retail presence worldwide and within Japan.

The Tokyo location is positioned as both a commercial and cultural hub for the brand. It follows the 2024 Paris flagship and precedes a planned store opening in SoHo, New York later in the year. Calvin Klein Global Brand President David Savman stated, “The Tokyo flagship marks a pivotal milestone in the global retail strategy for the Calvin Klein brand. Calvin Klein has always stood at the intersection of fashion and culture, creating products and consumer experiences that resonate and inspire, and our stores are where this element of our iconic DNA is the most fully realized. We are excited to expand our footprint in one of the world’s most influential fashion capitals and deliver an elevated consumer experience where the Calvin Klein way of living meets the culture of fashion.”
The first two levels of the store showcase Calvin Klein’s full lifestyle assortment for men and women, including apparel, underwear, and accessories. Emphasis is placed on denim, a category culturally significant in Japan and central to Calvin Klein’s product line. Underwear zones on both floors highlight design updates and seasonal selections in tandem with apparel offerings. The third floor features a flexible space intended for gallery use, special events, and a VIP section. The brand’s Fall 2025 Calvin Klein Collection is scheduled to arrive there in September.

The flagship combines Calvin Klein’s modern aesthetic with traditional Japanese craftsmanship. The exterior includes sculptural cast glass louvers and a digital display above the entrance that will showcase brand campaigns. The interior employs a color scheme of creams and natural tones, enhanced with Japanese materials such as stone, plaster, cedar, paper, and glass. Design elements include a limestone staircase, Oya Ishi stone, and handmade finishes and artworks by Wataru Hatano and Rikuo Takata. The space also features Noguchi sofas and vintage Japanese furnishings.
To commemorate the opening, Calvin Klein will release a limited-edition capsule collection exclusive to the store. Focused on denim, the collection includes reworked versions of the brand’s classic jeans, logo tees, and trucker jackets. Each style is produced in a run of 100 individually numbered items, offering a collectible element for both existing and new customers.
