CDLP and Passalacqua Capture the Ease of Italian Summer

A capsule collection steeped in nostalgia and lakeside elegance

CDLP returns to Lake Como with an exclusive capsule in collaboration with Passalacqua, the storied 18th-century villa reimagined as an intimate retreat. Nestled in the terraced hills of Moltrasio, the property sets the tone for a collection that blends intentional design with the unhurried rhythm of Italian summer.

Drawing from the romantic codes of 1930s travel—sun-faded postcards, hand-drawn souvenirs, and the muted palette of a slower era—the CDLP x Passalacqua capsule comprises tailored swimwear, relaxed t-shirts, breezy poolside sets, and a silk scarf illustrated in the heart of Como. Each piece channels the idea of refined leisure, where ease is elevated and elegance doesn’t ask for attention.

The campaign, lensed by CDLP co-founder and Creative Director Christian Larson, unfolds in and around the villa’s gardens, shot in natural light and starring stylist and aesthete Robert Rabensteiner. A longtime muse of understated luxury, Rabensteiner moves through the day as a modern embodiment of dolce far niente—the sweetness of doing nothing.

This marks CDLP’s second collaboration with the De Santis family following their 2018 project at Grand Hotel Tremezzo, further deepening a shared vision rooted in quality, atmosphere, and quiet glamour. Limited in edition, the capsule is available exclusively at Passalacqua, on cdlp.com, and at the e-boutique Sense of Lake.
