Chanel Reopens East Hampton Seasonal Boutique

The Ephemeral Boutique Brings Chanel’s Parisian Summer to a Historic Hamptons Location

Chanel has reopened its seasonal boutique in East Hampton, New York, bringing a touch of Parisian summer fantasy to a historic building. The boutique, covering 2,500 square feet and spread across two floors, showcases a variety of Chanel products including handbags, small leather goods, accessories, watches, fine jewelry, fragrances, beauty items, and the latest fashion collections designed by Artistic Director Virginie Viard.

This year’s offerings include pieces from the Coco Beach 2024 collection and the 2024 Métiers d’art collection. The East Hampton location also features an enchanting Hamptons garden, set to host a series of summer events.

Drawing inspiration from the seaside lifestyle, the boutique’s decor blends the relaxed spirit of the Hamptons with Chanel’s iconic black, white, and gold color scheme, exuding a timeless elegance associated with the brand’s founder, Coco Chanel. The design features matte black painted floors, white walls, tweed rugs, and understated seating that echo the ambiance of Chanel’s famed 31 rue Cambon address in Paris. The second floor, designed for private appointments, offers a more intimate shopping experience with central-facing creamy linen couches adorned with white and gold Chanel tweed pillows.

The boutique’s extensive collection includes vibrant reimaginings of Chanel’s signature tweed sets, babydoll dresses with rocker chic embroideries, Shetland knitwear, and Mary-Jane shoes from the Métiers d’art 2023/24 collection. Additionally, the Coco Beach collection brings sleek naval-inspired swimwear, flowy pastel and striped separates, summery denim, and even themed surfboards. The boutique also features the Summer and Fall 2024 Eyewear collections.

An exclusive area of the boutique is dedicated to Chanel’s latest watches and fine jewelry, displaying renowned pieces like the J12, Première, Code Coco, and Boy·Friend watches, along with the Coco Crush and No. 5 fine jewelry collections.
