'In Florence' Ad Campaign

Review of Chanel in Florence Ad Campaign by Creative and Art Director Remembers Studio with models Pan Haowen, Mariam de Vinzelle, and Akon Changkou

In celebration of its upcoming Métiers d’art show in Florence, Chanel shares a dreamy and whimsical animated campaign film created by Remembers Studio.

With a distinct and charming animation style that reimagines the world through Chanel’s legendary design vocabulary, the campaign follows animated versions of Chanel models Pan Haowen, Mariam de Vinzelle, and Akon Changkou from the recognizable façade of house’s newly created Métiers d’art headquarters in Paris to the emblematic Florentine landmark of the Ponte Vecchio.

Chanel has been exploring a smart approach of celebrating each of its runway shows with accompanying campaigns that release ahead of the presentation, taking the opportunity to generate further hype around the show while expanding on its creative world. With its magical world of house codes and its symbolic journey from one iconic city to another, this campaign is a particularly fun and creative example of the approach.
