The House Opens Shops in Gstaad and Courchevel Through March
For the winter season, Chanel is once again setting up temporary boutiques in the alpine resorts of Gstaad, Switzerland and Courchevel, France.
In Gstaad, the fashion house returns to its early 20th-century wooden chalet, which has become a seasonal showcase for its collections. The chalet spans 120m² over two floors, exuding a warm, welcoming atmosphere akin to a holiday retreat. Here, patrons can explore Chanel’s latest Ready-to-Wear, accessories, and shoes, alongside iconic timepieces like the J12 and Première watches. A special highlight is the Haute Joaillerie display featuring timeless pieces from the 1932 collection. The ground floor dedicates space to the Coco Neige 2024/25 collection, which merges the technical aspects of winter sportswear with the casual flair of the 1970s, ideal for après-ski activities. This boutique will remain open until 9th March 2025.
Meanwhile, the Courchevel boutique has been designed to reflect the cozy yet refined atmosphere typical of mountain chalets, with extensive use of wood to harmonize with the natural surroundings. Big display windows preview the emblematic silhouettes from both the Coco Neige and Cruise 2024/25 collections. This season, the shoe section has been expanded, adjacent to a fireside area complete with a tweed-covered sofa and footstools for a luxurious shopping experience. The boutique also boasts a new accessory counter crafted from dark wood, spotlighting the house’s costume jewelry and other accessories. Additionally, the Watch and Jewlery area has been enlarged to feature an enhanced selection of high jewelry and iconic watches. This boutique will welcome visitors from mid-December 2024 to mid-March 2025.
