Review of Coach Camo Fall 2021 Ad Campaign by Photographer Bladi Corniel with talent Michael B. Jordan, Jeremy Lin, Quincy, Lolo Zouaï and Debbie Harry
Coach stands out on the streets with a new campaign highlighting the house’s Camo collection. The Fall 2021 campaign was captured by photographer Bladi Corniel.
Reintroducing the house’s original camouflage print, now with a neon update, the all-gender collection includes bags, T-shirts, sneakers, joggers, and hoodies. Introduced in 2015, the print is the house’s reimagination of classic camouflage with a drip-painting style as a nod to the energy of the street-art scene in Coach’s hometown, New York City.
The campaign stars Coach family members Debbie Harry, Michael B. Jordan, Jeremy Lin, Quincy, and Lolo Zouaï, captured in energetic portraits at city locations around the world. Developing on the use of camouflage in contemporary fashion as a means to stand out rather than blend in, the imagery explodes the print out into the world, splattering the city streets with color.
The simple yet energetic campaign is a great way to develop on the aesthetic and energy of an iconic pattern.
