Copenhagen Fashion Week Reveals SS26 Lineup

The August 2025 edition features 44 brands, expanding its global presence with a new guest slot and continued focus on emerging talent

Copenhagen Fashion Week has released its full lineup of 44 brands for the Spring/Summer 2026 season, set to take place from August 4–8, 2025. The official schedule presents a mix of international and Nordic mainstays alongside younger talent, reinforcing the event’s growing role as a global fashion platform.

This season introduces designer Anne Sofie Madsen to the CPHFW NEWTALENT programme, joining Berner Kühl and Bonnetje. Returning brands include Henrik Vibskov, Sunflower, and Marimekko, with a number of new names joining the four-day schedule of shows and presentations. According to organizers, the presence of both established Nordic designers and international players underscores Copenhagen’s “international positioning… within the fashion calendar worldwide.”

SS26 will also feature IAMISIGO, winner of the 2025 Zalando Visionary Award, with a runway presentation supported by Zalando. The award includes €50,000 and production support, part of Zalando’s continued effort to back designers “who challenge conventions and inspire progress in the fashion industry.”

Participating brands this season are also piloting a revised Sustainability Requirements framework, which will take full effect in January 2026.

“I’m proud to unveil the brand lineup for SS26, which once again affirms Copenhagen Fashion Week’s position as a leading global fashion week. Despite the headwinds facing our industry, it’s both meaningful and encouraging to see growing participation and support — a clear reminder of how vital a platform like this becomes in challenging times,” said Cecilie Thorsmark, CEO of Copenhagen Fashion Week. “This season, we are especially pleased to introduce a new Guest Slot, which will be given to Cecilie Bahnsen for a special showcase.”

Bahnsen, who showed at Copenhagen Fashion Week from 2017 to 2020 and has since joined the official Paris Fashion Week calendar, returns to mark her brand’s ten-year anniversary.

“We’re very excited to be celebrating our 10 year anniversary at Copenhagen Fashion Week this August and feel honoured to be the first recipient of the guest slot. Copenhagen is where I found my voice as an independent designer, created our universe, and was given the support to grow what Cecilie Bahnsen is today. The show will stand as a celebration of the brand’s evolution and growth, showcasing how we have moved forward whilst honouring our roots and the city of Copenhagen as an essential part of Cecilie Bahnsen’s story,” said Bahnsen.

“It felt only natural that the inaugural CPHFW Guest Slot for SS26 would be launched with Cecilie Bahnsen — a brand that, in the ten years since Cecilie launched her label, has come to represent an incredible success story,” added Thorsmark. “The SS26 season is shaping up to be our most impactful edition to date, and the addition of Cecilie Bahnsen will only underline this.”

The CPHFW NEWTALENT scheme will also highlight three emerging brands — Kettel Atelier, Stem, and Taus — as its “One to Watch” picks. These brands will present through curated presentations during the week, receiving financial support, mentorship, and industry access through the programme.

The full brand lineup includes names such as 66°North, Filippa K, Rotate, The Garment, OpéraSport, Deadwood, and the Royal Danish Academy, among others.
