The main schedule of the event boasts an impressive roster of renowned brands– 7 Days Active, A. Roege Hove, Baum und Pferdgarten, Deadwood, Ganni, Gestuz, Helmstedt, Henrik Vibskov, Kerne.milk, Latimmier, Lovechild 1979, Marimekko, Mark Kenly Domino Tan, Munthe, Nicklas Skovgaard, OpéraSport, P.L.N., Paolina Russo Zalando, Remain, Rolf Ekroth, Rotate, Saks Potts, Skall Studio, Stamm, Stine Goya, Sunflower, TG Botanical, The Garment, The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Vain, Wood Wood. The meticulously curated selection of 31 brands has been approved by the prestigious CPHFW Show Committee and Sustainability Committee. These committees employ a rigorous screening process, assessing brands against Copenhagen Fashion Week’s 18 Minimum Standards that encompass both fashion design criteria and a comprehensive value chain perspective. The result is a lineup of brands that exemplify excellence and responsibility in equal measure.
Cecilie Thorsmark, CEO of Copenhagen Fashion Week, highlighted the industry’s growing commitment to sustainability, stating, “Continuing on from our debut season of Sustainability Requirements, it’s notable that both new and returning brands are showing dedication to operate more responsibly.” Thorsmark also explained the need for an extra show day, emphasizing the importance of providing ample time and space for the exceptional lineup planned for SS24, which includes captivating shows, presentations, events, and activations. The August edition will feature an eagerly anticipated show by Paolina Russo, winner of the Zalando Visionary Award, as well as brands under the CPHFW NewTalent umbrella. Among the returning designers are Latimmier and P.L.N., while Nicklas Skovgaard, a finalist of the Wessel & Vett Fashion Prize 2022, joins the lineup. Rolf Ekroth will make his debut this season, adding to the excitement. Additionally, MLGA will be bestowed with the prestigious CPHFW NewTalent One To Watch title.
