A Modern Remix of DVF Codes Launches First at Bergdorf Goodman This September

Diane von Furstenberg is ushering in a new era of creative collaboration with the launch of a limited-edition capsule collection designed by knitwear specialist and DVF alum Henry Zankov. The ready-to-wear collaboration, created in partnership with DVF Creative Director Nathan Jenden, debuts with an exclusive pre-launch at Bergdorf Goodman before rolling out to dvf.com and the brand’s New York flagship.
Zankov, who previously worked under von Furstenberg, returns to reinterpret the house’s iconic prints and silhouettes through his distinctive lens—one shaped by graphic geometry, playful color clashes, and tactile innovation. “This collaboration came together organically because of my relationship with Diane,” Zankov shared. “I have always admired her energy and her spirit, which is timeless and audacious.”
The campaign, shot in New York by Willow Williams and styled by Jermaine Daley, visualizes a modern DVF muse—effortless, expressive, and unapologetically eclectic. The collaboration pairs heritage elements like polka dots, paisley, and monogram motifs with unexpected layers of hand-painted prints, batik effects, and ombré sequencing.

Color plays a starring role throughout. Acidic yellows meet grounded browns, baby blues spar with rich burgundies—pairings that feel at once jarring and entirely intentional. Elevated textiles like silk, chiffon, cashmere, Japanese lurex, and satin form the backbone of the collection, while digital sequin prints, paillettes, and hand-embroidery bring dimension and detail.
Silhouettes skew long, fluid, and menswear-inspired, with subtle wrap details nodding to the house’s signature wrap dress. The styling communicates ease and movement—core pillars of both DVF and Zankov’s respective design vocabularies.
The collection will be available for pre-order exclusively at bergdorfgoodman.com beginning August 27. It hits Bergdorf Goodman’s store floors and e-commerce site on September 3 and will launch at DVF’s Meatpacking District flagship and dvf.com on September 15.
