The Show Will be Held June 3rd in the Gardens of Castle Drummond
Dior has announced the date and location for its upcoming Cruise 2025 runway show. The collection designed by creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri will be presented on June 3rd in Scotland, in the gardens of the historic Castle Drummond.
The history of Castle Drummond dates back to the 15th century when it was originally constructed by the Drummond family, who were prominent nobles in Scotland at the time. The castle served as the ancestral seat of the Drummond Clan for centuries, playing a significant role in the region’s political and social landscape.
Throughout its history, Castle Drummond witnessed numerous conflicts and power struggles, typical of medieval Scotland. It endured sieges and battles, including during the turbulent times of the Jacobite uprisings in the 17th and 18th centuries.
Combining Italian and French Renaissance styles, the castle’s grounds feature magnificent gardens (where the runway show will be held) which were designed in the 17th century by the renowned Scottish architect and landscaper, Sir William Bruce.
Chiuri is expected to continue her practice of collaborating with local craftspeople and artisans each Cruise season. Recent destinations for the house have included Mexico City, Seville, and Athens.
