The Expanded Release Includes New Shades and a Revamped Formula Along with a High-Profile Campaign
Dior has unveiled a fresh look and expanded palette for its Lip Glow line, expanding the range with warm undertones while maintaining the original cool tones. The update is launched under the creative guidance of Peter Philips, Creative and Image Director for Makeup at Dior. Philips expressed his enthusiasm for the innovation: “After years of research and experimenting, we are proud to say we cracked the code. We are now able to offer warm as well as cold shades that enhance the natural PH of your lips. This range of shades is timeless, caring and yummy. Fall in love again with your first crush, your playful addiction, your new Dior Addict Lip Glow.”
The updated collection not only broadens its color spectrum with eosin-based “Color Reviver” technology, which adapts to the pH of the lips to provide a personalized color but also introduces a revamped packaging design. The new pink case, highlighted with the Dior Oblique logo and a bijou-like CD engraving, elevates the product’s aesthetic, merging makeup with high fashion.
This expansion includes a palette of radiant colors from vivid pinks to soft peaches, designed to complement every lip tone with its unique ability to enhance natural color and shine. The collection now features 20 shades, including new additions like 006 Berry and 077 Candy, and limited editions such as 078 Icy Blue and 203 Citrus.
The relaunch of Dior Addict Lip Glow is accompanied by a vibrant campaign that features a high-profile cast of brand muses, including Jisoo, Anya Taylor-Joy, and, newly introduced, Willow Smith. Each ambassador embodies a unique aspect of the Lip Glow range, enhancing the product’s allure through a series of visually engaging promotional materials. Captured by photographer Dan Beleiu and filmed by Valentin Herfray, the campaign showcases the transformative and sensory qualities of the balm, from its moisturizing texture to its versatile color palette.
