Dior Celebrates Ten Years of Lady Art

Ten artists reinterpret the Maison’s icon through their own creative worlds

A timeless icon of Dior style, the Lady Dior continues its evolution as both an emblem of elegance and a vessel of creative expression. Defined by its architectural silhouette and cannage motif, the bag embodies the enduring codes of the House and the mastery of its ateliers — a sculptural object of desire where heritage meets modernity.

Since its inception, the Dior Lady Art project has invited artists from around the world to reinterpret the bag through their own creative lens. Each edition merges haute couture craftsmanship with bold artistic experimentation, transforming the Lady Dior into a living dialogue between art and fashion.

In 2025, the House celebrates the tenth anniversary of this visionary initiative with a special edition bringing together ten international artists: Jessica Cannon, Patrick Eugène, Eva Jospin, Ju Ting, Lakwena, Lee Ufan, Sophia Loeb, Inès Longevial, Marc Quinn, and Alymamah Rashed. Their works span continents — from France to Korea, Brazil to China — and perspectives, uniting past and future, matter and imagination.

Each reinterpretation reflects a distinct sensibility: some evoke memory and emotion, others capture invisible forces or natural landscapes. Through these transformations, the Lady Dior becomes more than an accessory — it becomes a canvas of ingenuity, a symbol of artistic metamorphosis, and a tribute to creative freedom.

Textures and colors merge in vibrant compositions that transcend craftsmanship, revealing Dior’s devotion to art as a living, breathing extension of couture.

Ten years on, Dior Lady Art remains a celebration of vision, passion, and the boundless dialogue between imagination and elegance.
