Dior Launches Exclusive Dior & Otani Workshop Capsule

Tanilla the Green Monster: Centerpiece of Dior & Otani Workshop’s Artistic Fusion

Dior has unveiled a mesmerizing capsule collection, Dior & Otani Workshop, conceptualized by Kim Jones in collaboration with the acclaimed Japanese artist Otani Workshop. This men’s collection bursts with an infectious, joyful energy, showcasing the artistry of the renowned sculptor.

The collection features Tanilla, a small green monster designed by Otani, which becomes the central motif of the line. This captivating character springs to life in an oversized form on sophisticated sweaters and elegantly weaves its way onto short-sleeved t-shirts, bombers, and the new B33 high top tennis shoes. Each piece captures the essence of Dior’s Spring 2024 line, seamlessly blending casual elegance with contemporary flair.

The enchanting Tanilla motif also makes its way onto a denim overshirt and adorns the iconic Dior Oblique toile in rich shades of burgundy and pink. These vibrant hues illuminate the collection’s elegant knitwear, offering a fresh take on Dior’s timeless style.

Adding a final touch of allure, the Tanilla symbol creatively reimagines the “Dior” logo, embellishing hooded sweatshirts and functional pouches with shoulder straps. True to Christian Dior’s legacy, several pieces bear a patch with the signature “Christian Dior Couture,” adding a refined elegance to a range of models, including baggy pants.

The collection’s color palette is dominated by red, a color Monsieur Dior considered as “the color of life,” reflecting his vision as shared in his Petit Dictionnaire de la Mode.

These exceptional creations are set to be showcased in Dior boutiques, where art and fashion converge in a tribute to creativity and the enduring legacy of Monsieur Dior.
