Dior is revisiting its heritage with the release of its “Diorling” capsule collection.. A play on the term “darling,” the collection includes shirts, denim pieces, and sweatshirts, as well as accessories such as ties, card holders, key rings, and caps, all featuring the elegant, vintage-inspired cursive logo. Also available are a pair of limited-edition Diorling B33 sneakers.
The timeless collection harkens back to the house of the 1960s, when it released a 1963 fragrance as well as 1968 U.K.-based ready-to-wear line of the same name. A further nod to heritage, the capsule is dressed in a palette of deep blues, grays, and blacks, favorites of Christian Dior himself. With the “Diorling” creations, the house continues to explore its legacy through subtle codes and archival references, merging nostalgia and youth.
