Kim Jones collaborates with KAWS for a fusion of fashion and contemporary art
Dior continues the creative dialogue initiated at its Summer 2019 show with the launch of Dior and KAWS, a capsule collection by Kim Jones in collaboration with New York contemporary artist KAWS. The collection, combining Dior’s classic design codes with KAWS’ unique artistic vision, features a vibrant pop aesthetic.
A central feature is a redesigned “DIOR” logo, outlined by a snake weaving through its letters. This design appears on items including cotton faille Bermudas, quilted shirts with Cannage graphics, Dior Oblique knits, and Rider 2.0 bags, alongside small leather goods and B33 sneakers. The snake motif also forms “CD” initials, decorating jackets, sportswear, and B57 sneakers with a playful yet striking presence.
The looks are completed with B35 NXXT sneakers in neon yellow and red, paired with brass jewelry such as necklaces, bracelets, and brooches.
The Dior and KAWS capsule collection will be available in Dior boutiques beginning January 2, 2025.
