Spring 2025 Ad Campaign

Review of Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2025 Ad Campaign by Creative Director Fabien Baron and Photographer Steven Meisel with models Bibi Breslin, Rosalieke Fuchs, Sacha Quenby, and Sora Choi

Cinematic glamor takes the spotlight in Dolce & Gabbana‘s Spring 2025 campaign, which sees the brand reunite with creative director Fabien Baron and photographer Steven Meisel.

The collection and runway show saw D&G channel the glamorous energy of some of cinema’s most iconic blondes – Marilyn Monroe, Monica Vitti, Marlene Dietrich – as well as Madonna, who the duo designed costumes for on her 1993 tour.

The campaign similarly leans into that energy, painting a group of platinum-wig-clad brand muses as legendary artistes and staples of the vintage nightlife circuit. In Meisel’s rich black-and-white compositions, they put the final touches on their glam before taking to the stage, or lounge away from adoring fans in the fleeting moments between cabaret acts.

With complex compositions that demand a second look and a strong sense of character and narrative – not to mention glamor, opulence, and sensuality – the campaign feels like a welcome look back to the classic Dolce & Gabbana campaigns of yore.
