Pop-up includes exclusive pieces from Girls Don’t Cry, Wasted Youth, and more
Dover Street Market has opened its fall 2025 schedule with a summer gift shop pop-up in collaboration with Japanese artist Verdy, marking his first project in London. The artist, known for his work with Pharrell Williams and Nigo, is releasing a series of limited-edition collaborations in three drops throughout August.
The first release, which drew long queues at DSM’s Piccadilly store, included co-branded T-shirts featuring Verdy’s panda-rabbit character Vick, a plush of his newer character Visty, and pieces from his labels Girls Don’t Cry and Wasted Youth. Future drops will feature a soft vinyl Visty in a DSM T-shirt, a New Balance x VK Design x DSM sneaker, a Beats by Dre speaker holder, and Nike vintage soccer jerseys reworked by Verdy.
Verdy said the collection reflects his current creative interests and emotions. His work has drawn a global streetwear following, with endorsements from artists including A$AP Rocky, BTS’s J-Hope, and Central Cee. He has previously collaborated with brands such as Nike, Levi’s, Guess Jeans, and Human Made, and worked on projects for Coachella, McDonald’s China, and Blackpink’s “Born Pink” tour.
