Dries Van Noten Launches Casper Sejersen Exhibit at LA Store

Dries Van Noten has opened an exhibition of the Fall-Winter 2021-22 collaboration with Danish photographer Casper Sejersen at the event room of Dries Van Noten, Los Angeles.

The installation features photography and film created by Casper Sejersen for the Dries Van Noten Fall Winter 2021-22 collection, shot at The Red Room of deSingel in Antwerp from 8th February through 10th February 2021.  The installation will remain active until season’s end.

A troupe of 47 performers were convened from the world-renowned contemporary dance companies of Belgium, namely Rosas and Ultima Vez, and a few from the Opéra National de Paris. Most participants were female dancers with a few models, though a few male dancers and choreographer Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui completed the group.  The film, with Massive Attack’s “Angel” as the soundtrack, will run alongside photographs of the collection worn by the performers and captured by Casper Sejersen.

This installation is the third exhibition in the event room.  Before him, Dries Van Noten had the opportunity to present an exhibition of sculptures by Richard Stipl with jewelry by Alan Crocetti, followed by an installation of photographs by Viviane Sassen and moving images from Len Lye films.
