Edward Enninful Launches Media and Entertainment Company with Sister Akua

EE72 Will See Edward Serve as Chief Creative Officer and Akua as CEO

Edward Enninful, the trailblazing former editor-in-chief of British Vogue and European editorial director for Vogue, has announced the launch of a new global media and entertainment venture, EE72. Based in New York with an additional office in London, EE72 will focus on developing and producing content, immersive experiences, and innovative products. This initiative marks a significant next step in Enninful’s illustrious career, following his historic tenure at British Vogue where he was celebrated for injecting a dynamic mix of fashion, culture, and politics into the magazine.

EE72, co-founded with his sister Akua Enninful, a seasoned talent agent, aims to challenge and redefine traditional media narratives. Edward Enninful will helm the creative direction as Chief Creative Officer, while Akua Enninful will take the reins as Chief Executive Officer. The company seeks to forge strategic partnerships with visionary creators and groundbreaking companies to produce transformational content that promotes authentic representation and storytelling.

“EE72 represents a natural progression of the foundation I’ve built my career on,” Edward Enninful stated. “We’re creating a space where creativity transcends boundaries, where diverse voices don’t just exist—they lead. Our mission is to reshape how we see and understand each other, building bridges across cultures and communities.”
