The custom cabin design will debut in 2026 as an available option for clients
Bombardier and Elie Saab have announced an exclusive collaboration to develop a tailored cabin design for the Bombardier Global 8000 aircraft. The partnership brings together Bombardier’s engineering capabilities and Elie Saab’s design expertise, marking the aviation company’s first interior project with a luxury fashion house. The new design will be unveiled in 2026 and will be available as an option for Global 8000 customers.

The project aims to merge aesthetic detailing with functional considerations, creating a cabin environment intended to emphasize comfort, material quality, and refined presentation. Customers will be able to select the Elie Saab interior as part of the aircraft’s customization program.
Éric Martel, President and Chief Executive Officer of Bombardier, stated that the initiative reflects the company’s intent to enhance the passenger experience. “Bombardier Global 8000 customers are already enjoying the finest in business aviation with exceptional comfort, the fastest speed and lowest cabin altitude in the industry, as well as the best field performance to operate from short runways in all weather conditions,” he said. “This collaboration with Elie Saab further sets apart this aircraft’s distinctive characteristics and exemplifies Bombardier’s commitment to offering an unparalleled customer experience.”
Elie Saab Junior, Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Elie Saab Group, described the collaboration as a step in the brand’s expansion into lifestyle categories. “Partnering with Bombardier marks an important milestone in Elie Saab’s strategic expansion into lifestyle. Together, as two businesses united by family values and a commitment to excellence, we are shaping a new expression of luxury in aviation,” he commented. He added that the design will focus on refinement and comfort for a global range of clients.
The Bombardier Global 8000 is positioned as the company’s flagship long-range aircraft, with a maximum speed of Mach 0.95 and a range of 8,000 nautical miles. The jet features what Bombardier describes as the lowest cabin altitude in its class, advanced technology systems, and performance capabilities that allow for operations from shorter runways. The company said the model is intended for travelers seeking long-distance capability, flexibility, and a high level of cabin customization.
