The Brand’s First Leather Bag Arrives for Pre-Spring 2025
Erdem is branching into leather goods for the first time with the launch of its debut bag collection for Pre-Spring 2025. Known for its sensitive and modern take on femininity, the fashion house brings its signature aesthetic into the realm of accessories.
The Bloom bag is handmade in Italy and distinguished by its sculptural flower-bud handle, made of hammered brass with a light gold finish. The handle’s intricate design is inspired by the organic forms of flowers and created using the ancient lost wax casting method, more commonly associated with fine jewelry. This detailed hardware contrasts with the bag’s unstructured, tactile body, available in soft calfskin leather or velvet, and lined with suede.
“I am thrilled to introduce our first leather bag collection with The Bloom bag,” says Erdem Moralıoğlu, the brand’s founder and creative director. “The design draws inspiration from the gestures and poise of the women who have influenced my collections, as well as my lifelong fascination with the language of flowers.”
The Bloom comes in two sizes—mini and medium—designed for both day and evening wear. The medium version will be available in khaki green and black calfskin leather, paired with a detachable leather strap. The mini size will be offered in cream and black calfskin leather as well as black velvet, featuring a detachable chain strap with a fine gold finish.
