Erdem Unveils Limited-Edition T-Shirt Supporting LGBTQIA+ Charities

Erdem has launched a limited-edition unisex t-shirt in collaboration with iconic London bookshop Gay’s The Word, with all proceeds benefiting the UK-based charities Not A Phase and akt. The initiative aligns with the brand’s ongoing commitment to championing inclusivity and community engagement through design

The white tee features a floral motif of light blue, pink, and white carnations—a nod to the colors of the Transgender Pride Flag—alongside a green carnation, the 19th-century symbol of queer identity popularized by Oscar Wilde. The design quietly weaves history, symbolism, and solidarity into a wearable statement piece.

Proceeds from the capsule will be evenly split between Not A Phase, a trans-led grassroots organization focused on empowering trans+ adults, and akt, the UK’s only national charity supporting LGBTQIA+ youth facing or experiencing homelessness.

The shirt will be available starting June 16 online, at the Erdem flagship in Mayfair, and at Gay’s The Word in Bloomsbury—further reinforcing the campaign’s ties to meaningful cultural institutions within the queer community.

In a statement accompanying the launch, Erdem Moralıoğlu emphasized the importance of the initiative, saying, “I am honored to partner with two incredibly important charities, Not A Phase and akt, to help communities who need our support now more than ever.”

Rooted in symbolism and civic purpose, the project reflects a growing emphasis in fashion on responsible storytelling—offering not just visibility, but tangible impact.
