Fendi’s Lunar New Year Pop-Up in Shanghai

Fendi Welcomes Year of the Fire Horse With Playful Capsule

Fendi ushers in the Year of the Fire Horse with a spirited Chinese New Year 2026 capsule collection that bridges house codes with auspicious tradition. Launching January 15th in select boutiques and on Fendi.cn, the release extends the visual language of Spring/Summer 2026 into a festive narrative shaped by bold color play, collectible characters, and intimate storytelling.

Womenswear focuses on reinterpretations of the FF logo in soft blue knits trimmed with saturated shades of pink and yellow—a continuation of the season’s contrast-driven runway palette. Accessories expand the house’s collectible charm family with two new BFF Mini characters, now dressed in red and adorned with symbols of persimmons and peanuts, nodding to Chinese expressions of prosperity and smooth beginnings. A limited-edition BFF Maxi elevates the theme with mink, shearling, and leather detailing, underscoring the Maison’s material fluency and technical finesse.

Menswear introduces light outerwear and jersey pieces—windbreakers, hoodies, and T-shirts—that integrate delicate floral motifs and embroidery into the Fendi logo itself. Though understated in silhouette, these pieces carry a quiet elegance aligned with the capsule’s overall tonal warmth.

The campaign video builds on Fendi’s recent focus on character-driven storytelling, bringing the BFF charm family to life in a soft-focus domestic setting. Scenes of dumpling-making, perfume spritzing, and joyful reunions infuse the collection with a sense of togetherness that feels tactile and real. The final shot—dumplings arranged to form the Fendi logo—ties heritage and house in a single gesture.

Rather than seasonal flash, Fendi offers continuity. Through visual cohesion with recent collections and thoughtful material choices, the capsule folds Lunar New Year into the broader arc of the house’s evolving creative identity: playful yet poised, nostalgic yet forward-facing.
