Ferragamo Unveils Winter Magic in Milan

Ice Skating, Pop-Ups, and Culinary Delights Merge in “The Gift: Portrait of a Winter’s Tale”

Milan’s Portrait Milano hotel, part of the Ferragamo family’s Lungarno Collection, has launched a festive winter activation titled “The Gift: Portrait of a Winter’s Tale,” inviting locals and visitors to experience a blend of leisure, luxury, and philanthropy. At the heart of the activation is an ice skating rink enclosed by the hotel’s signature 16th-century colonnade, surrounded by fir trees and a towering Christmas tree. Running through January 6, the experience pairs skating with seasonal shopping, curated pop-ups, and culinary treats, with ticket proceeds fully benefiting Fondazione Mente, a Rome-based foundation supporting children with neurodevelopmental disorders.

Complementing the rink are greenhouse-style pop-ups showcasing Ferragamo’s winter-ready collection, including leather goods, footwear, scarves, and scented candles, alongside a collaboration with Samsung that allows visitors to explore Ferragamo products through augmented reality. Guests can also browse winter apparel from Chamonix-born brand Perfect Moment or indulge in seasonal specialties, from Lindt chocolates to Panettone bites and mulled wine, while enjoying coffee and pastries at Beefbar Café or live performances at Rumore cocktail bar.

“The Gift” not only offers a festive playground but also ties into Milan’s forthcoming role in the 2026 Winter Olympics and Paralympics, reflecting the Ferragamo family’s commitment to blending cultural experiences, charitable initiatives, and luxury hospitality. By merging winter sports, immersive shopping, and gastronomy in the heart of the city, Ferragamo transforms the Portrait Milano into a destination where celebration and social impact meet refined style.
