Frédéric Arnault Appointed CEO of Loro Piana

The Son of the LVMH Chairman Steps Up Amid a Wider Management Reshuffle

Frédéric Arnault, the second youngest of LVMH chairman and CEO Bernard Arnault’s five children, has been appointed as CEO of Loro Piana. Frédéric, known for his role in the watchmaking division of LVMH, will start his new position on June 10, after a transition period beginning March 26 with outgoing CEO Damien Bertrand, who will join Louis Vuitton as deputy CEO.

This move is part of a broader management reshuffle within LVMH, aiming to reinforce its leading brands by promoting internal talent. Frédéric Arnault’s leadership is expected to drive Loro Piana towards even greater excellence, building on its reputation for quality and luxury in a time of significant growth for the brand.

Loro Piana has carved a niche for itself in the luxury market with its understated but prestigious products, distinguishing itself in an era increasingly defined by the quiet luxury trend. Despite the brand’s discretion in fashion shows and collaborations, it has thrived under the strategic direction of LVMH, reaching estimated revenues between €2 billion and €3 billion in 2024, up from about €700 million in 2013.

Frédéric Arnault’s track record includes significant achievements at Tag Heuer, where he led the brand’s smartwatch initiative and later served as CEO. His strategic vision is complemented by his passion for innovation and quality, making him a promising fit for Loro Piana’s future.

Bernard Arnault praised the new appointment, noting that “our maisons’ desirability is fueled by dedicated and passionate leaders.” This leadership transition is part of LVMH’s strategy to maintain its brands’ momentum and desirability through dynamic development.

In related news, Pierre-Emmanuel Angeloglou has been named deputy CEO of Dior, marking another significant internal promotion at LVMH.
