The Creative Director Introduces an Upscale Take on the Brand’s Iconic Wardrobe Essentials
Gap has announced the launch of GapStudio, a new upscale fashion line with the Gap brand spearheaded by the company’s Executive Vice President and Creative Director Zac Posen and his New York City-based design team. Aiming to offer an elevated take on wardrobe essentials, the line debuts with a holiday collection but is set to expand across Gap’s retail and online channels for Spring 2025.
The first release from GapStudio, a holiday collection featuring versatile pieces designed for both day and night wear, is available now on Gap’s website. The collection, which is modeled by Lindsey Wixon, draws inspiration from the brand’s most cherished styles. Japanese consumers can anticipate the collection’s arrival on January 14, available both online and at Gap’s flagship store in Shinjuku.
Notable public figures such as Emily Ratajkowski, Demi Moore, and Alton Mason have already been seen wearing items from the new line. Emily Ratajkowski was spotted in New York City sporting the GapStudio Coated Denim Cropped Moto Jacket, while Demi Moore appeared at the San Francisco Film Festival Awards dressed in the same jacket paired with a GapStudio Ribbed Tank Maxi Dress in Black. Alton Mason opted for the GapStudio Coated Denim Moto Jacket at the 2024 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards Dinner in New York City
