Giambattista Valli’s latest mood board backstage was filled with inspiration from various sources such as Mughal paintings, Botticelli masterpieces, and picturesque gardens. The dresses that emerged from this creative blend were nothing short of spectacular, including a hooded red gown with a swooping décolleté that resembled a garland of blooms.
The show itself was a sensory experience, complete with live sitar and bansuri players, floral styling details, and models with faces shrouded in chiffon or tinted blue – a color with divine significance in Hindu culture.
