Gigi Hadid and Guest In Residence Partner with Global Education Non-Profit Pencils of Promise this Giving Tuesday

Donating 20% of all sales to the organization’s efforts to build schools and increase education opportunities in the developing world

Gigi Hadid and her cashmere brand Guest In Residence has partnered with for-purpose education organization Pencils of Promise (PoP) for Giving Tuesday. Having just launched in time for the cold weather, Guest In Residence is a luxury 100% cashmere knitwear brand. The company will donate 20% of all sales to Pencils of Promise to support access to quality education for children around the world. Customers will be able to purchase an heirloom piece of clothing that will last them years while also contributing to the funding of a school that will change a child’s life.

Since 2013, Hadid, a supermodel, mother, and founder of Guest in Residence, is a long-time invested partner with Pencils of Promise. She attended the organization’s third annual gala in 2013, which was her first introduction to their groundbreaking work for children. In 2016 and 2017, PoP partnered with Stuart Weitzman and Hadid with proceeds from the shoe line funding several PoP schools, raising over $300K. Additionally, Hadid’s pottery class auction item served as one of the most successful items sold to date, raising a total of $285K at the 2017 and 2019 galas.

I’m incredibly grateful Guest in Residence is able to give back this Giving Tuesday by donating 20% of sales to Pencils of Promise. Their mission to ensure every child has access to a quality education is one I’m passionate about as a mother, and I’m looking forward to supporting them this year.

We at PoP are so thrilled to announce this Giving Tuesday campaign with longtime partner Gigi Hadid and her new brand Guest In Residence. Gigi has been an avid supporter of PoP for many years so to align with a brand that she has spent so much time and care developing and perfecting is a full-circle moment for our work with her. With Guest In Residence generously donating 20% of sales on this Giving Tuesday, we will be able to further our efforts in crafting a better future through education and resources for children globally.
