Gucci Expands Horsebit Collection With New Fine Jewelry

The house revisits a core heritage emblem with contemporary silhouettes in yellow and white gold

Gucci has introduced a new chapter in its storied Horsebit collection, unveiling a selection of fine jewelry pieces that reinforce the house’s heritage through a refined, contemporary lens. The collection brings new interpretations of the equestrian-inspired motif across necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and rings in yellow and white gold, with several styles accented by diamonds.

Originally sketched in a Gucci artisan’s notebook in the late 1940s, the Horsebit has been a continuous thread through the house’s design language—appearing prominently in footwear, hardware, and jewelry since the 1950s. This latest offering builds on that legacy with a balance of fluidity, structure, and material richness.

The white gold range introduces a more delicate, luminous take on the motif, with demi pavé diamond details across smaller and larger pendant necklaces, flexible double-chain bracelets, sculptural ear cuffs, and subtly scaled hoops. A minimalist ring with a Horsebit silhouette rounds out the selection, offering a graceful counterpoint to the collection’s bolder designs.

The yellow gold pieces make a more assertive statement, featuring two chokers and a series of rings, bracelets, and pendant earrings composed of linked Horsebit elements. Chain-like silhouettes appear in both uniform and degradé arrangements, emphasizing rhythm and repetition. Key pieces include a contrarie ring flanked by Horsebit symbols at each end and a set of flexible cuff bracelets with a sleek mechanical finish.

With this launch, Gucci continues to mine its visual archive for timeless references—recasting them through a lens of modern fine jewelry design. Clean lines, modular constructions, and subtle engineering reflect both the house’s craftsmanship and its ongoing exploration of form, heritage, and wearability.
