Fall 2024 Ad Campaign

Review of Gucci Horsebit Fine Jewelry Fall 2024 Ad Campaign by Photographers Deo Suveera & Pamela Dimitrov with models Agel Akol, Ana Rossolovich, Chloe Oh, and Achille Genet

Gucci is relaunching its Horsebit fine jewelry collection just in time for its 20th anniversary. The new collection is celebrated with a crisp campaign by photography duo Deo Suveera and Pamela Dimitrov.

Taking a direct and sophisticated approach to lensing the collection, Suveera and Dimitrov capture their cast of striking models in headshots with directional shadows against pristine white backdrops. The perspective nicely captures the luminescent character of the yellow and rose-gold jewelry while demonstrating how each individual’s personality brings them uniquely to life.

But it is actually the portraits of horses that appear alongside those of the humans that feel most visually impactful. The duo captures only a segment of each animal’s body – neck and shoulders – and doesn’t include their faces. The effect suggests a whole without actually showing it, creating a senes of energetic tension inviting us to appreciate the beauty of these magnificent animals that have played an incredibly deep role in human history.

The accompanying short film puts these portraits in motion while combining them into dynamic, multi-shot panoramas, creating a kaleidoscopic synthesis of the equestrian inspiration behind the designs, the designs themselves, and the individuals who wear them.

Elevating animal energy into a vision of clean sophistication, the minimal yet striking campaign is a strong way to reintroduce the Horsebit fine jewelry collection as it evolves into Gucci’s new era.
