Gucci Hosts Exclusive Dinner Celebrating The Art of Silk

A Lavish Homage to Heritage and Craftsmanship

Gucci and actress Julia Garner recently co-hosted an intimate dinner in Paris, celebrating the House’s Keep It Gucci: The Art of Silk campaign. Photographed by Steven Meisel, the campaign offers a poetic tribute to Gucci’s legacy of silk craftsmanship, with visuals that evoke a cinematic interplay of light and shadow, turning silk into a medium of pure self-expression.

Guests gathered at the prestigious Hôtel de Maisons, where Gucci’s CEO Stefano Cantino welcomed them to an evening steeped in elegance. The night began with cocktails before progressing to a meticulously curated dinner by Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura. Themed “Come to Italy,” the menu offered a journey through Italy’s rich culinary heritage, perfectly complementing the evening’s celebration of timeless artistry.

The Art of Silk initiative extends beyond the campaign, embracing Gucci’s heritage through projects like the 90 x 90 collection, where artists reinterpret archival motifs, and a collaboration with Assouline on Gucci: The Art of Silk—a book that traces the evolution of the brand’s iconic silk scarves. Gucci’s tribute to its storied craft reflects both tradition and innovation, cementing its place at the pinnacle of luxury fashion.
