Gucci Introduces New High Watchmaking Pieces for 2026

The new releases draw on archival silk scarf designs and artisanal techniques

Gucci is expanding its High Watchmaking universe for 2026 with a series of new releases that merge archival storytelling with advanced craftsmanship, introducing both intricate Métiers d’Art designs and a gemstone-set evolution of the GUCCI 25H.

The House has unveiled five new High Watchmaking pieces, including four additions to the G-Timeless Métiers d’Art collection and a reimagined GUCCI 25H model. Drawing from Gucci’s rich archive of silk scarf motifs, the Métiers d’Art series continues to translate heritage imagery into highly detailed horological expressions.

Each of the four G-Timeless models showcases artisanal techniques ranging from micro-painting and engraving to feather marquetry and grand feu enamel. Inspired by themes of nature, wildlife, and movement, the timepieces feature 40mm cases, engraved case backs, and intricate dials crafted from materials such as onyx, mother-of-pearl, and ornamental stones.

Highlights include a reinterpretation of the iconic 1966 Flora print rendered through gemstone inlay and hand engraving, as well as designs featuring cranes, toucans, and tigers drawn from archival scarf imagery. Two models incorporate feather artistry by French artist Nelly Saunier, who uses naturally molted feathers to create layered, textural compositions. Each watch is completed with a tourbillon positioned at 12 o’clock, reinforcing the technical precision behind the decorative surfaces.

Alongside the Métiers d’Art pieces, Gucci introduces a new iteration of the GUCCI 25H, distinguished by a rainbow arrangement of baguette-cut sapphires. The ultra-thin 40mm timepiece retains its architectural silhouette while framing an open-work dial with hand-set gemstones in graduated tones, emphasizing both mechanical complexity and visual impact.

The launch is complemented by updated versions of the Horsebit and Bamboo watch lines, which reinterpret two of the House’s most enduring codes. The Horsebit appears in new jewelry-like chain bracelet styles and leather strap variations, while the Bamboo collection continues to evolve the iconic handle motif into refined, wearable timepieces.

Together, the releases underscore Gucci’s ongoing approach to watchmaking as a fusion of heritage, artistry, and innovation, positioning its timepieces as both technical instruments and narrative objects.
