Gucci Kicks Off Holiday Season with Miami Installation

Event Includes DJ Sets, Ice Cream, and a Private Dinner at Mother Wolf

Gucci marked the festive season with the debut of its snow globe-inspired installation at Sweet Bird North Plaza in Miami’s Design District on December 3, 2024. The event brought together a range of tastemakers, artists, and industry leaders, including Venus Williams, Alessandra Ambrosio, Yara Shahidi, Eiza Gonzalez, and Kering Deputy CEO Francesca Bellettini. The installation pays homage to Gucci’s travel heritage and intertwines various elements of the brand’s history.

The seasonal display, located between Gucci’s two boutiques, will remain open to the public until January 7, offering free ice cream from Peel, coffee and baked goods from Rosetta, and weekend coloring activities for children during select times. Complementing the installation, Gucci partnered with American artist Corydon Cowansage, who adapted one of her existing works into three murals for an Art Wall takeover. These vibrant murals, featuring biomorphic shapes and bold colors, align with Cowansage’s participation in Miami Art Basel starting December 4.

For the unveiling, the plaza was transformed into a private party featuring DJ sets by Tiffy Vera and Carlita, cocktails, and hors d’oeuvres. The evening concluded with an intimate dinner at Mother Wolf for select guests.

Gucci’s installation continues the brand’s tradition of blending art, design, and seasonal festivities, offering a dynamic experience for visitors in Miami’s premier shopping destination.
