Camille Miceli and Violette Serat Join Forces for a Shared Beauty Vision
Guerlain has partnered with fellow LVMH brand Pucci to launch a limited-edition line of makeup this August. Guerlain’s creative makeup director Violette Serat teamed with Pucci creative director Camille Miceli to develop the range of bold new takes on Guerlain’s signature lineup.
The collaboration also features Pucci’s the iconic Marmo print from Pucci on the packaging of reimagined Rouge G lipsticks, Météorites, and Terracotta products.
The collection boasts two new Rouge G lipsticks, one a satin-finished plum and the other a velvet-matte red. The lipsticks are designed to be used alone or in tandem. The lipsticks are fortified with active ingredients like lily oleo-extract and meant to introduce the freshly revamped Rouge G line.
Other products include an Ombres G eye shadow quad, named 045 Marmo Vibe, in four new matte shades, and a Terracotta Marmo Sun bronzing powder in three tones. Météorites bestseller 02 Rosé and the Marmo Swirl brush will also feature in the collection, packaged in Marmo-patterned vessels. Completing the line-up is the Parure Gold Cushion Marmo Glow foundation. Prices range from 42 euros for a lipstick refill to 98 euros for the bronzing powder with every piece limited to a 20,000-unit run for the three-month sales period.
The collection’s campaign features Guerlain’s international ambassador, supermodel Natalia Vodianova. Miceli called the Russian model an “amazing woman,” while Serrat described her as a professional and an icon for Guerlain.
The collection will initially be available at the iconic Isetan department store in Shinjuku, Japan starting on August 15, followed by a worldwide launch in select stores, Guerlain boutiques, and on guerlain.com on August 26.
