Hed Mayner Named Guest Designer for Pitti Uomo January 2026

The Israeli designer brings his architectural approach to menswear to Florence for Fall 2026

Pitti Uomo has announced that Hed Mayner will appear as a guest designer for its January 2026 edition, presenting his Fall 2026 menswear collection in Florence from January 13 to 16. The Paris-based Israeli designer, celebrated for his exploration of proportion, gender fluidity, and form, will stage a special runway show—details on the exact date and venue are forthcoming.

“I would like to thank Pitti Uomo for their invitation to present my new collection in January,” said Mayner. “It is a great honor to be part of Pitti, which represents genuine support for creativity. I’m so excited to show my work in such an amazingly rich and historical city like Florence. This new context will encourage me to try new things.”

A graduate of the Institut Français de la Mode, Mayner launched his namesake label in Paris, quickly gaining recognition for his sculptural yet effortless tailoring. In 2019, he received the Karl Lagerfeld Prize at the LVMH Prize for Young Designers and has since showcased on the Paris Fashion Week calendar, with stockists including Dover Street Market, Galeries Lafayette, Antonia, and United Arrows. His collaborations include work with Reebok, where he led creative direction for the Reebok Ltd. line.

“Hed Mayner’s collections are in open dialogue with the fluidity of the present,” said Francesca Tacconi, special events coordinator at Pitti Immagine. “Strength and lightness, craftsmanship and tailoring merge in garments that rest effortlessly on the body yet are charged with physicality—clothes that defy convention and interpret sculptural form.”

The full program will be revealed during a press conference in Milan on November 5. Mayner joins Soshiotsuki by Soshi Otsuki, this year’s LVMH Prize winner, as a fellow guest designer. They follow Homme Plissé Issey Miyake, MM6 Maison Margiela, Marine Serre, and Wales Bonner in Pitti Uomo’s ongoing commitment to spotlighting innovative voices in menswear.
