Highsnobiety Unveils New Collaboration with RUF Automotive

The Berlin-Based Fashion Platform and the German Car Manufacturer Announce Their Second Collaboration

Highsnobiety has announced its latest collaborative capsule collection, created in partnership with German car manufacturer RUF Automobile.

Known for its excellence in automotive craftsmanship, RUF is a family-owned company led by CEO Estonia Ruf, Chairman Alois Ruf Jr., and Head of Collaborations Aloisa Ruf. Their team of 90 professionals is responsible for engineering and manufacturing just 35 cars annually. Now, RUF steps into a fresh context, celebrating its brand within the fashion world through its second collaboration with Highsnobiety.

The collaboration has been thoughtfully developed by Aloisa Ruf and the Highsnobiety team to merge RUF’s automotive heritage with contemporary cultural influences. This new collection comprises 20 pieces, all rooted in RUF’s distinctive color palette of green, yellow, black, and white. The collection’s standout items include a green leather bomber and a printed race car jacket with matching bottoms, alongside a variety of hoodies, t-shirts, and long-sleeve tops. The designs are adorned with RUF x Highsnobiety logos and graphics.

The capsule doesn’t stop at apparel; it also features an array of accessories designed to appeal to both fashion enthusiasts and automotive fans. These include caps, a leather tray, and even mini racing helmets perfect for collectors. In a further nod to RUF’s roots, the collaboration extends to branded automotive items such as a clock, keychain, mug, and Yeti water bottle.

Collectors will also be drawn to the two Unimatic watches, which are limited to just 100 each. These stainless steel timepieces are made in Italy, each showcasing an aspect of RUF’s design sensibility The Modello Tre U3-RUF-G features a brushed finish with RUF green accents on the dial and bezel, paired with a green nylon NATO strap, while the Modello Tre U3-RUF-B showcases a black diamond-like carbon brushed finish with yellow highlights, complemented by a black nylon NATO strap.

The accompanying campaign emphasizes RUF’s automotive world by showcasing the collection in a co-branded petrol station setting, blending the world of fashion and cars.

Priced between €45 and €950, the Highsnobiety x RUF capsule collection is set to launch on August 22, 2024. Fans can find the collection on the Highsnobiety App and in the Highsnobiety Shop, with an in-store release event planned at the brand’s flagship store in Berlin.
