Isabel Marant Celebrates Capsule Launch With Dinner at Oliver House

Event marks exclusive NET-A-PORTER release with music, fashion, and guests from film and design

On Thursday, May 29, 2025, Isabel Marant hosted an evening dinner at Schindler’s Oliver House in Silver Lake alongside Heather Kaminetsky, CEO of NET-A-PORTER, and actor Milla Jovovich. The event was held to mark the launch of Marant’s 19-piece capsule collection, which became available exclusively on NET-A-PORTER earlier that week.

Set at the modernist Oliver House overlooking the Silver Lake reservoir, the dinner brought together figures from across fashion, film, and music. Guests arrived in printed silk and linen pieces from the collection, gathering for drinks and photos before sunset. The roster included actors Rachel Bilson, Madeline Brewer, Lily Rabe, January Jones, and Alison Brie, who were seen drinking spicy margaritas on the terrace.

Jovovich, dressed in a linen mini dress from the capsule, was joined by her daughter Ever Anderson and reunited with Isabel Marant and the brand’s creative director, Kim Bekker. Other attendees included Carlacia Grant in a runway look, stylist Nausheen Shah, and NET-A-PORTER Fashion Director Kay Barron. Dree Hemingway, in a black silk jersey maxi dress, sat with Hilary Rhoda, who wore a capsule collection blouse.

During dinner, Jovovich introduced Luella, who performed a short live set wearing a pinstripe suit and swimsuit styled by Hemingway. Backed by guitarist Henry Moser and dancers Keoni Rose and Tako Suzuki, Luella performed two covers and her debut single “Naive.” The dance sequence was choreographed by Shi Joli.

Dessert featured a large tiramisu presented on a tray bearing the event’s logos. Designer Aurora James and other attendees including Emile Haynie, Giampiero Tagliaferri, and Trevor Cheney remained for the closing moments, as the celebration transitioned into an informal dance floor.
