Issey Miyake’s IM Men Hosts Paris Exhibition

Showcasing Garment Construction and Modern Techniques

IM Men, the menswear line from Issey Miyake, launched the Fly With IM Men exhibition today, January 24, in Paris. The event highlights the brand’s approach to garment construction and materials, reflecting Issey Miyake’s philosophy of “a piece of cloth.”

Founded in 2021, IM Men explores new approaches to clothing by merging design and engineering, with a focus on reimagining the relationship between form and construction. The exhibition offers a closer look at the materials and techniques used in creating the brand’s original designs.

The event features an installation by designer Tokujin Yoshioka, inspired by the interplay of traditional Japanese craftsmanship and modern technology. The installation seeks to embody the philosophy behind IM Men’s innovative approach to clothes-making.

Coinciding with the brand’s debut collection at Paris Fashion Week for the Autumn/Winter 2025/26 season, this exhibition aims to extend its vision to a broader audience by presenting the creative and technical processes behind its designs.

The Fly With IM Men exhibition invites visitors to engage with the principles driving the brand’s contemporary menswear, merging tradition with cutting-edge innovation.
